The TLD .SWISS was launched only a few days ago. It is reserved for companies and institutions with a local presence in Switzerland and domains are assigned depending on specific criteria. Thus the registry ensures that only swiss organisations (for example companies, foundations, associations etc.) will provide their contents under .SWISS.
