What is AuthInfo2?
If it is not possible for you to obtain an Auth code for transferring a .DE domain (e.g. because the provider or registrar no longer exists or does not respond to requests), you can start an AuthInfo2 request here.
Who is authorized to request an AuthInfo2 code?
The registrant or an authorized service provider is entitled to do this.
How does the AuthInfo2 procedure work?
The registry for .DE domains DENIC sends the AuthInfo2 code to the registrant by registered mail. The code will be sent to the registrant's address stored at DENIC. It is not possible to send the code to another address.

By executing the order, you confirm that you are the domain holder or that you have been instructed to request the AuthInfo2 code.
AuthInfo2 requests cannot be cancelled after checkout because they are immediately transmitted to DENIC and processed automatically.
